Urduja Animated Film
Urduja Animated Film

Urduja an animated film which was produced by Filipino artists is the first animated film ever in the Philippines. It took two years for the artists to complete.

The Philippines has a pretty long history in animation, though few people really care to notice. Filipino animators have worked on the likes of Scooby Doo, Captain Planet and The Incredibles, providing talent for foreign outfits. Urduja is the first major effort to create a local animated feature, and though it still isn’t a full showcase of what we can do, it’s a pretty great effort.

Urduja is a legendary Princess in Pangasinan one of the Philippines' province.
The movie is good. I hope that in the future Filipinos can make even better than what they have done this year.

raptor island movie
Raptor Island Movie

In the beginning of the story it seems that the next scene would be lot of battles between soldiers and the terrorists. But I was wrong. The story eventually change into an adventure and "Hide and Seek" game.

The story begins when a member of the special team was captivated by a terrorist group. And then the rescue came. But they failed. The enemy able to escape with the captive to the unknown island. There they tried to run and hide from the chasing team. Unfortunately there are another enemies who are more dangerous than the soldiers.

The attackers were the big animals ready to eat them alive. Now the terrorists and the soldiers have the common enemy. Their common mission is to survive. They can not escape the island after their water craft is already broken.

In the middle of the story, they learned that the volcano of the island is about to explode. To make the story short, only two of them made it. Only two of them went home alive. The others remain in the stomach of the predator.

The story is full of action and adventure. But I can say that it was not a very good story. I don't say that its not a good one, what I don't like of it is the way the movie made. There is a part of it which is boring.

Sylvester Stallone: Rambo 4

Jon Rambo
Rambo 4

I was in my teenage years when I enjoyed viewing of Stallone's movie especially the Rambo. In it's first episode, Rambo 1 portraits Jon Rambo life after the Vietnam's battle. He had nothing left, no family, friends, except his superior. He excluded himself from the world but eventually got troubles.

Jon Rambo seems the man born to be a warrior to free slaves. His abilities as a former Green Beret soldier, helped him in accomplishing his incidents job.

The story is always solving a problem. The world's problem that can not be killed by a gun. It's human ideologies and principles. Rambo fought this and ends with nothing but a man without home. Always sentimental ending.

After Rambo 3, I never thought that there is another coming movie. So when I knew, I bought one and start viewing. I saw Stallone as usual. Playing the role as a hero. He forced himself to live out of trouble, but the battles come. Conflicts always bother him. By the way, i like saving others. "Dying for something is better than living for nothing."

I like the movie although some of its parts are brutal. Massive killings and oppressions but for the young boys, this is the best. I don't belong to them, but as a fan, yea.

The Young Anakin

August 1st 2008 06:49
I was really amazed of Anakin when I first view the movie Star Wars Episode 1. The young brilliant boy who once bet a race just to help the strangers. I saw his willness of helping others. His determination led him to learn new things which changed his life in the future.
