Rocky Balboa

Reviews of the new Sylvester Stallone movie, Rocky Balboa, have been generally good. The movie opens today.
The film clips I've seen are good, with Stallone's performance and writing seeming to approach the original, of which I am a fan.
Might be worth your time & money.
San Francisco Chronicle correspondent Hugh Hart interviewed Stallone, who said:
"Rocky V reflected my lack of focus at the time, which translated onto film almost like a CAT scan of where I was. That movie defeated all the other 'Rockys,' and it bothered me because people had been so loyal to that character."
Why did Stallone write certain events into the new movie?
"You have to pull a man's heart out and take away the thing he loves the most in the world so he plummets to the depths of despair. "
Not to worry, Rocky will rise from despair and into the ring in the new movie. Which, if it is at all like the others, will have some memorable fight sequences. And maybe a message of hope.
